Marvellous! Marvellous! Every dish is a delight. The atmosphere is always friendly; full of smiles. More "homey" than home. Especially enjoyed all the soups. Mmmmm... and the sourdough bread! [25 Jan 2004 23:37:44]

The Best Veggie Food I ate at Blue Diamond every chance I could while in Chiang Mai. I am a vegan and their menu was oh so fabulous for my diet. Yummy vegan cakes, yoghurt, and the best garlic fried rice ever. [25 Jun 2004 16:41:36]

The Best Breakfast I Ate in Chiang Mai I went there every morning and some times in the evening, nice and tasty and healthy food. Love it and recommend it very much, people are charming. [27 Jan 2006 21:36:37]

Lovely Sticky Rice and Mango Excellent food! All the soups are particularly nice (especially the kow soi). I also enjoyed the sticky rice and mango, the best one I had in Chiang Mai. [21 Jun 2007 16:13:36]

Vegetables You know the design, the combined shop, restaurant, house with everything arranged haphazardly which the Thais pull off with such charm.
Came here for a vegetable fix and they came up trumps. My curry contained an abundant and tasty selection of vegetables all done just right. Great texture, great taste.
Staff all seem to be young, poor out-of-towners and it appears to be some sort of vocational training program (all girls mind you) but I can't see any signs to that effect. This combined with too many gimmicks which seem designed to seduce the backpackers gets in the way of a good meal, which is a shame.
This restaurant really does fill up during the peak evening hours. Note the address: Given here as soi 7 but you'll find it just a few yards from soi 9, about halfway down to RathchaPhaKhiNai Road, lookout for the yellow sign. [26 Jul 2007 01:14:01]

King size vegetarian dishes All dishes came in king size, effort enough for two people to eat! However, when I just tasted it, was just so right and it was all vegetables, so very easy to digest in my small stomach. I finished all!
Once, I tried 'macaroni in tom yum soup', it was so hot and spicy, so I didn't have good feeling by the time I finished it, and the macaroni was hard, non taste. Anyway, it was my ridiculous choice in Thai food...
Inside really had too much stuff, the warm yellow lights worked all their best, so felt so confused. Think outside was better because of plants, fresh air in a narrow ground of garden. [18 Apr 2009 01:03:21]
