Nicest quiet eating place in CM One day I was just taking a walk going nowhere up and down the streets when I passed this small restaurant. I had become hungry and stepped inside. It looked brand new, fashionable and yet somewhat cosy and atmospheric. I was approached by two extremely polite guys, took a seat and ordered. While waiting they served (kneeling like with all others servings) ice water and when I got the food it looked extremely good. Fried rice in the shape of a heart and all fresh and delicate ingredients. Traditional Thai courses but with a modern and western twist. I was so pleased, that I took my boyfriend there to eat a couple of days later. Unfortunately they were closed, I don't remember if it was lunch or dinner time, but we came back during opening hours. My boyfriend is Thai and working in high class hotels and even he was impressed. The guys who run this place are so kind and top motivated and the food was, again fantastic. Not fancy in anyway (like the French tiny portions) but delicious and good looking. Both times there were no other guests, I think it just recently opened but I was so sad that noone knew about this place yet, so I gave a 200 baht tip for the good service and good luck in the future. I really hope Coffee Lovers is still there when I get back to Chiang Mai and I will encourage everyone to try this nice place, have a good and relaxing experience and support these two guys who really deserves to become a success.
