Once Good, Now Mediocre At Best
We have eaten at the Lighthouse restaurant a number of times, and enjoyed the breezy location and fine dishes which tend to range between American and Creole in style.
A major disappointment the last time, though, when the service was obtuse and the quality of food - though good in appearance - was rock bottom in taste and freshness. My surf'n'turf dish came with a salad hotter than the steak and a total of four shrimps of which I could stomach only one, and I'm not a fussy eater.
For the price, these guys need to do a lot better.    [26 Jun 2003 16:30:01]
