A little gem of a restaurant! Nature and Peace is advertised as a vegetarian restaurant, though it also serves chicken and fish dishes. The food was excellent and well presented, and at a very reasonable price (about 10 TL for the vegetarian dishes).
The atmosphere was very relaxed, the service was good and the owner was particularly helpful when we asked for the English translation of a piece of fruit. He tried phoning a friend, then left the restaurant to find out for us, returning shortly afterwards with the answer: quince!
The restaurant is a short tram ride from Sultanahmet but was near enough for us to walk back.    [20 Apr 2009 15:30:53]
