Ask I have just paid a fourth visit to my local 'ASK' restaurant and, as usual, was delighted with the service, the food, the ambience, the cleanliness, the friendliness and most of all the welcome we received fromthe staff and management. The manager recognised us and with her usually smiling face greeted us as we walked through the door. Dining here was a delight as always! [25 May 2004 20:13:57]

Was recommended by someone I know, I invited six of my friends for a meal. I wasn't disappointed at all. The meal was outstanding and the service was first class, sure I'll pay another visit again next time in London [03 Jul 2005 05:18:07]

overpriced small portion I have just returned from a meeting with a friend after visiting the "ASK" restaurant. I did'nt want a lot to eat so I went for a starter dish of "Caesar salad" as I did'nt want any chicken. When the salad arrived I was not impressed as it was so small with just a couple of leaves diced up about four croutons and a sprinkly of cheese At a charge of £3.95 I expected a little more than this, it was a poor excuse for a salad (even as a starter) and looked far from appertizing. My friend did mention it to the waiter who was quite obliging and said that he would mention it to the manager however the manager did'nt even have the the courtesy to come and chat with us {after the waitress had confirmed that the waiter had spoken with the manager} to try and resolve our disappointment. We paid the bill and did'nt "ASK" for a refund {they are obviously in more need of the money} and left not to return or recommend. [01 Sep 2006 10:56:57]
