Good food - ruined by poor service
Very good food - friendly service, but thoroughly disorganised. Be prepared to have to chase for drinks etc. No segregation of smokers. Ceiling drips with condensation. Not cheap food, but wine reasonably priced. Quirky goblets that can't be cleaned properly - demand other wine glasses.    [28 Jun 2004 04:06:25]

Some good food ruined by appalling service & arrogance
Some good food, some average, the vegetables were overcooked and frankly some were just about old enough to throw away!
We quietly mentioned this to the staff who were sweet, helpful and fetched the owner. When we politely told him that though some food was excellent, some was below expectation, and that the veg was unacceptable - he was rude, dismissive and finally stalked off.
Our planned 'special' evening was utterly ruined and I wouldn't recommend this restaurent to a stray dog!    [09 Jan 2006 08:08:46]

Don't Avaoid But Do Pray For Better Service.
I love the food and the decor and the very cheerful and engaging owner. The service is not so good. We committed the crime of coming with children at lunchtime which while high chairs were provided civility by the lady who greeted us was not.    [15 Sep 2007 07:40:35]
