Unbelievable I have eaten curries of all varieties and strengths in many restaurants in Bristol and London, but the Brunel Raj is by far the best. Friendly staff, fantastic curries (individual, not the same base with differing additions) and good pricing makes it the first choice whenever I need a spice hit. [14 Oct 2004 11:40:38]

Excellent Brunel Raj is regarded by many people as one of the best Indian restaurants in Bristol. That's quite a distinction, but it's the attention to detail that sets Brunel Raj apart from its competitors. With its white linen tablecloths, chunky cutlery and powder-blue walls plastered with framed paintings of Bristol, it doesn't look like a traditional curry house.
And the food is spot-on, too. Shammi kebab and king prawn karahi are specialities. [03 Jan 2006 12:42:17]

Rubbish The food is disgusting, but this restaurant is the best of the worst because all the Indian Restaurants in Bristol are rubbish. If you going to have a good Indian, go up to London as most of the top restaurants in the world are there. There are no restaurants which have a Michelin star because there is a low demand for good food in Bristol. [08 Sep 2006 11:55:20]
