Appalling Service Went there for a lunch time once. The place was pretty much deserted but the food still came out cold. Had a mixture of Tapas involving combinations of seafood, chicken and rice, all tasting rather plain. However, I did have quite an enjoyable sangria cocktail.
The place seems oriented towards students and the usual trendy Clifton clientele. The interior is relatively pleasing to the eye but it is a little dark in some parts of the restaurant, but it is a lot brighter towards the front. There is also a bar downstairs but this wasn't open at the time I visited.
The service was a joke. Seemed like I had the waitress from hell since she seemed to get flustered with every minute that passed.
My wife and I spent fifteen minutes waiting for somebody to collect the bill, at this point I gave up and spent another ten minutes waiting at the bar to pay the bill. Of course several assistants came and went, but they seemed intent on serving everybody else, ignoring me completely.
Needless to say I didn't leave a tip and I will not be going there again. [29 Jun 2004 11:30:40]
