Pleasant Restaurant in Rural setting I have been to the Leaping Hare several times. The food is excellent and there are gardens to visit and a Saturday farmers market. The only downside is that (especially Sat lunchtime) it can get very busy and service can be slow (the last time a junior member of our party commented they should rename it the Leaping Tortoise) [21 Mar 2005 05:17:52]

First Visit I had heard several good comments about the leaping hare as a place to try. I visited for the first time last week. the food was all excellent although the starters took a little while to arrive. The salty foccaccia bread served with olive oil was a tasty start to the meal. the service was relaxed but friendly. my meal was scallops with rocket salad, grilled seabass with dill and basil mash, followed by lemon posset.
