Description

An increasingly popular little restaurant right in the heart of things, contained in two comfortable and homely rooms within a Georgian house. You could encounter sea bass with cucumber spaghetti and citrus vinaigrette amongst other delights. Very good set price lunch at £8.95 and a bottle of house wine will cost you £9.95

What a shame the old owners left!
I used to absolutely adore Augustines restaurant, what a shame it was passed over to new ownership though! The service was the best in town, the staff were so freindly and good humoured, also to the best standards!

The food was incredible! There really was nothing else quite like it in Canterbury. I truly miss my friday and saturday evening meals in the lovely cosy restaurant. Unfortunately, now i feel that the new owners have tried to make as much money out of the restaurant as possible, forcing in more tables, and rushing service.    [19 Jul 2006 06:22:15]
