Always slightly quirky, but the food is terrific
I agree with the summary description entirely.

I've eaten at Moran's various times over the years and would sum up my experience up as "the food is always wonderful, but you have to be prepared for something odd to happen". Today's lunch was no exception (there was a mix-up with the drinks) but at least the air-conditioner stayed on the wall this time.

The food, as ever, was a treat - and surprisingly cheap. I would happily take any friend or client here for lunch any day.    [31 Jan 2002 18:07:02]

I've just eaten at this establishment and I have to say it's fantastic, the food, the ambience and the service all exceptionally good!

The other reviews on this site seem a bit dated we payed by card this time and they were more than happy to accept it! The only one they wouldn't accept was american express.

The wine is a fantastic compliment to good hearty portions of great food! the staff a freindly and responsive to an questions you might have! They were incredibly busy on saturday night when we attended and they dont take a bookin for anything less than 6 people but thats not a problem, the wine bar is more than welcoming and the although we had to wait 15 minutes for a table it was well worth it!

Over all this is a fantastic gem in cheltenhams crowning acheivements! next time were back in cheltenham were definatly going back!    [25 Aug 2008 11:44:58]
