Excellent Little Restaurant - Better than most in london - good for veggies and meateaters. [05 May 2006 14:58:47]

Beware you have been warned We went there for a business lunch with some guests - what a big mistake. The deep fried brie was nearly black either from being over cooked or the oil needing changing and yet the middle was stone cold.
For the main I had "prime battered haddock" - what was prime I do not know, the piece of fish had something that resembled soggy and floppy batter and the chips were black with a crunchy middle.
This meal will probably go down in history as the worst food I have ever eaten (and I've eaten around the world)
I just wish we had gone to the greasy spoon around the corner - it wouldn't have been half as embarassing.
PS the grolsch and wine was great [01 Feb 2007 09:47:50]
