Margaret Bacon offers morning coffee and tea, light lunches, and afternoon teas at Chestnut Farmhouse. They serve a range of cakes, scones and pastries and a selection of 25 teas and 10 coffees. No cards are accepted - cash only. Restaurant policies require children to be "well-behaved". Located 3 miles SE of Holt down the Hempstead Road.

Real English Cream Teas
It may not be easy to find, but it’s worth the effort to discover this remnant of a bygone era. Everything is immaculate - that's the way Margaret runs the place - right down to the dainty "staff uniforms". Service is leisurely and unrushed even when they are busy, so just come here for the experience of a real old fashioned English cream tea! And the coffee's not bad too.
