Over Hyped.
Ambience and decor of the restaurant is very good and most of the staff is also very courteous and good. Although the serving staff look very experienced but did not seem to be able to help in selection especially for the first timers. A few examples - although it was mentioned in the menu that some of the dishes come with pulao and naan but it would have been good to confirm while re-confirming the order so that the additional bread/rice could be ordered accordingly. The other big shock was that we were even charged for the chutneys/pickles that come with the poppadums. The soft drinks are over priced for e.g. fresh orange juice is GBP 3/glass and coke is GBP 2/glass. Although there are special offers mentioned on the website for orders of more than 20 a bottle of house wine free but there was no mention in the restaurant and nobody mentioned as well. The chicken dishes were decent but the vegetarian dishes were awful and the yogurt (raita) was sour.    [12 Apr 2006 18:56:22]
