Escape from the Market A few steps away from the bustle of Camden's many markets, ASK offers 'middle of the road' pasta and pizza in quiet, airy and relaxing style. We all found the food quite satisfactory; the wine was excellent - as was the service. The ubiquitous polished wood and glass and steel has been nicely softened with tablecloths and restrained decor. Ideal for a pleasant and efficient business lunch! [28 Jan 2000 07:42:54]

Excellent Modern Restaurant The first thing I said when I saw ASK was, "that'll be pricey." When I took a look at the menu I saw the prices were really very reasonable.
The decor is very modern, clean black and white, with the large ventilation pipes very visible. The front of the restaurant opens out onto the street. Overall a modern, airy restaurant.
The food was better than average, but not exceptional. My lasagne arrived piping hot from the kitchen. Being microwave-reheated the service was very prompt, but the taste did not seem to suffer.
In summary, ASK is a very enjoyable restaurant which I have no hesitation is recommending to you. [29 May 2000 21:48:40]
