Description

Sitauted down an alley (opposite the stage door of the Royal Opera House), the Café is ground floor with some pavement seating, and has a cellar wine bar.
Caters mostly for the pre/post theatre trade, so fills and empties periodically - can be spooky. Low lighting and uses a lot of red and black in the deco

After the Opera
An excellent restaurant, hidden away a stones throw from the heart of Covent Garden, the food is consitently good, with a mouth watering menu (changes often) and friendly service. I've been in a crowd and a couple - service equally dependable.
The wine list is pretty good, and there's a cosy little bar downstairs where you can drink champagne, savour the cheeseboard and more. Excellent.    [16 Jan 2000 05:17:55]
