The setting is very simple and not really modern, but the owner spent a lot of time and efforts refurbishing the place, with a water wall, and a friendly atmosphere.
The main attraction at the restaurant is the food, which is very fresh and tasty, a quality of food difficult to find in general. The food is well presented as well, and the chef is very passionnate about his food and and will provide you with any information about lebanon and its food. Also, Vegetarians and vegans will be delighted as they can choose from a wide range of suitable dishes.
Everybody I know who has been to the restaurant has adored the food.
Definitely worth trying!! []

Cracking place. Friendly owner who can't do enough for you, great food and perhaps almost as important for many, no corkage charge on the BYO policy.
While the decor might not be up to much, the proof is very much in the pudding and it's only a matter of time before this place ends up being packed each night - despite the fact that it is very much 'off the beaten track'.
With the irresistable choice of hot and cold meze it's a task in itself to even reach the choice of main courses; of which there are choices to please all tastes. On the numerous times that I have visited, very few items on the menu have been worthy of any sort of complaint and I'd have to say that it's well worth the diversion. Fantastic stuff. Superb Absolutely fantastic food. Gets absolutely packed with regulars as the quality of food is superb, so book to avoid disappointment.
Not your typical type of service and decor, but the price and quality of these extraordinary meals makes up for any shortfall in that area! [22 Nov 2006 10:17:45]
