Nuff steak.. I've been to Antibo a couple of times in the past, during university holiday reunions.
Its a very large, well lit restaurant (conveniently located for an after eating Ritzy (Sorry 'The Palais') dance.
The menu is reasonably extensive, though for reasons I will explain, on both occasions nearly everyone had steak!
Basically Antibo did (and probably still does - you'd have to phone and find out) 2 for 1 meal deals.
Now being a greedy lot, initially half of my friends ordered steak in some form or another. The way the 2 for 1 works, is that you get the cheaper of the 2 dishes free. So those of us who hadn't ordered steak realised there was going to be an element of cross-subsidisation if we split the bill.
Ultimately this resulted in 11 out of 12 people ordering fillet steak (with or without the pepper sauce) which doesn't really leave me in a very good position to comment on the menu as a whole (the steak was nice!) [02 Jul 2000 11:10:23]

Party on! Thur 11 Oct 2001.
Definitely a place for a party!
Eating by myself was not a bad experience because there was plenty of entertainment around. The birthday girl at one table even got an opportunity to dress up as a chef and whirl the pizza base, which grabbed the attention of everyone!
I didn't have steak, but it is easy to see its attraction under the 2 for 1 offer, which is still available. I went for pasta, the tomato based sauce flavoured with garlic (lots), bacon, olives and chilli [Spag Matriciano?] was likeable and different, if a little intense. The portion was plenty for a main course alone.
House red (merlot) highly acceptable - and 2 small glasses with the pasta came to £12 approx., so good value.
It is a large, atmospheric restaurant, attractively decorated which is obviously popular for parties but it does also cater for the quieter or more intimate diner with tables around the main floor area. [12 Oct 2001 09:03:25]

A Definite Winner! An excellent setting with brilliant atmosphere, superb prompt service and top quality food. 2 for 1 offer puts this restaurant head and shoulders above the rest! [29 Apr 2003 16:24:41]

Not My Kind Of Place At All. I'm surprised by the decent reviews as I, and any one I've spoken to, hated it here. Then again, I suppose it all comes down to what makes a good night out. If you want sophistication and great food then this is not the place for you. Just don’t go there for a quiet romantic dinner.
The food is expensive (to compensate for the 2 for 1. Just drop the offer and the prices). It is not terrible, but I’ve had far better pub meals. [04 Oct 2006 10:05:51]
