Mmm profiteroles..
I've eaten here a lot, mainly because it's convenient. My parents live in Arnold, so we used to go a lot. And now when I'm back home for the weekend we go there occasionally.

There are 2 eating choices. The bar menu, served in the pub section, contains smaller dishes at correspondingly lower prices.

The main restaurant area at the front of the building serves the full Beefeater menu. (Steaks, Grills, Bangers and Mash, Pasta and a wide variety of other traditional English fare)

The food isn't cheap but it isn't expensive either, especially considering the size of the portions.

They have never had any problems fitting in a large party (for family occasions we've had as many as 30 people eating here - though we did book in advance)

If its someones birthday they throw in a free cake.

Oh and the profiteroles are very nice ice-cream filled affairs.    [02 Jul 2000 11:41:39]
