Mixed feelings I went there on my 21st birthday. Unfortunately the service we experienced was terrible. I took over an hour after ordering to get our food; apparently our "ticket" had been lost in the kitchen. Later on during the meal the manager came over to check everything was OK so I decided to voice my anger at the long wait. He was quick to establish what exactly had gone wrong, and offered us not only a free round of drinks but also a free bottle of champagne given it was my birthday. When the bill came (which was actually the wrong bill to start with) he said we only had to pay for the main courses given the cock up earlier on. My feelings about this restaurant are therefore rather mixed. The food that we had was delicious, however the long wait really did tarnish the evening. The managers actions to attend to the issue couldn't have been more appropriate though. [20 Oct 2007 03:33:16]

Good Food Let Down By Slow Service. I've always had good meals whenever we go to Loch Fyne, but the service was so awful that friends don't want to go there anymore and my husband has also boycotted the place. A pity since it is so simple to remedy. [19 Dec 2007 11:01:10]
