Frustration
Love the coffee, love the apricot danish pastries. However, can always get coffee but never get apricot danish. I have been trying for the last six months to purchase the above for myself, family, work colleagues - a huge market if only they were available. Each time I ask my local branch of Cafe Nero (Oxted, Surrey) it is either the wrong day, the wrong time of day, all sold out, not delivered, etc. I was advised to order if wanted so I did just that. With two days' notice I ordered 10 apricot danish for an important meeting. I arrived to collect and was told they hadn't been delivered (despite my two days' notice). Such a trivial situation to other people I know, but so frustrating for me. WHAT do I have to do to get Cafe Nero to take my money and boost their profits. By the way, an order of 20 could frequently be made for the coffee break at my place of work. But no luck so far. Because I know I will never get the pastries to go with the coffees, it follows that they are losing my custom for everything else as I can't be bothered to try yet again.
