I found all 3 essential of this restaurant to be outstanding: 1)Ambiance: Elegant, pleasant, relaxed, intimate, and not in the least snooty. 2)Service: Friendly and cordial. This is a pub/restaurant where they remember your name! 3)Food: Every dish I have tasted thus far has been superb. I found prices to be reasonable, and portions to be generous. I especially enjoyed their roast duck starter and main courses. [17 Mar 2008 13:35:47]

Restaurant With Rooms The Coachman Inn has a lovely atmosphere and feel with a quirky little bar and impressive restaurant. My girlfriend and I joined some friends there for a meal last month. What a fantastic night. The food was outstanding, service prompt, professional and informative. A good time was had by all!
We took my parents there for Sunday lunch last week. Really lovely, excellent beef, delicious duck and fish. Homemade Yorkshire puddings and real gravy too! My father said it was one of the best Sunday he’s had in a long time (and he’s tried a few!) and my Mother still talking about the grilled fillets of Sea Bass on a roast tomato and shimp risotto she had. Puddings included: Caramelised rice pudding with liquorice prunes and Cappuccino and peacan nut soft meringue roulade.
We love and recommend the Coachman Inn – The standard of the food and Kay’s service is matched by the handsome surroundings. Well done everyone! [04 Jun 2009 11:34:23]
