A New Chef: Outstanding food
The Foxhound inn is now our favorite place to eat. The food is freshly cooked to order and is served in their very smart restaurant.

The foxhounds inn is the place to eat! It is fresh pub grub! All my family and frinds have eaten at the Foxhound and agreed that it is very good food. I would highly recomend it!! It has a friendly atmosphere and is suitable for children.    [13 Oct 2006 18:36:16]

Amazing
We were recommended this restaurant, so we did have high expectations, but we certainly were not disappointed! We had the mixed roast dinner which was both huge and wonderful too. Well worth the 170 mile round trip!    [14 Feb 2008 13:32:11]

Had previously visited this pub for a reasonable meal - large portions of not brilliant quality but nice enough.
Booked for christmas eve dinner to have the full christmas dinner - turned up and they just weren't prepared for us - the poor lad who was serving us did his best but didn't have a clue. Place was dirty and scruffy and the meal was even worse! When it did finally turn up our roast turkey dinner looked and tasted like it had been plated up a week ago and microwaved the worst bit was the sausages which they assured me was just down to the recipe and that they were fresh however, as I have worked in the research dept of food industry I know meat and these sausages had been stored for at least a year! to make matters worse was the total indifference of the manager who just didn't give a damn. This is the only meal I have ever not paid for it was so bad!    [18 May 2008 10:33:30]
