You can eat well in the UK
After several months of travel around teh UK, this is one of two restaurants I'd consider returning to. Even go out of the way to do it.    [10 Feb 2003 00:55:53]

Very romantic and very nice
Not quite what us lads were looking for in terms of atmosphere - candles, flowers and white table linens as I gazed into my mates eyes. I said where is my wife when I need her. But we had a great meal and did blow through our expense account but we were nackered and deserved a good meal, it will have to be curries for the rest of the trip.    [21 May 2004 21:59:49]

Quality at its Best
Check your bank balance before you arrive as there won't be anything there after paying the bill.

Having said that, it was worth every penny.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and beautiful grounds. I'd love to have my wedding reception there but they only do day time receptions and I simple can't afford it either.

It really is extremely good quality and I've never been anywhere that pays so much attention to detail. A truely top class restaurant.    [18 Oct 2004 09:14:16]
