Description

A spacious and elegant restaurant in the heart of Stevenage Old Town, The Bombay offers a range of Indian and South Asian cuisine - Tandooris, Baltis and all the traditional favourites. We have a well stocked, luxury bar and are able to seat a maximum of 80 diners. Groups of all sizes are welcome - but for larger groups, or those wishing to use our private / non-smoking area, please call in advance to avoid disappointment! We serve a children's menu and high chairs for our smaller patrons are also available.

Best Indian in Stevenage

Nice but unclean
I went for a meal at the Bombay the other day and I was impressed with the decor. I wasn't impressed with the food, which wasn't very good. I then find out that they received zero stars from their recent environmental health visit. That means that they're a health risk. How can places like this remain open?    [23 Oct 2006 07:25:07]

Bad food and really bad Service
Got a takeaway from Bombay on Sat night (24/03/2007) and found the place to be unclean, and the service to be rude and unpolite. Person on the counter was rude and seems like I should be thankful I was giving him my money rather than the other way around. Guy needs some lessons in manners. Place should be shut down.
