General Impressions
Having worked and dined and drank there, I can give a fair impression of what the life is like there. Like many modern pubs it has a split atmosphere, during the day it is the quiet local where you can call in for a light meal with a nice relaxing drink, but then at night it becomes a bustling and exciting venue for quizzes and discos.

There is a wide range of dishes to choose from either from the set menu or from the constantly changing specials menues. Catering for large numbers is also quite possible and bookings for functions are welcome.    [16 Jan 2001 17:28:52]

Robbie William's Local
Yes folks, the Brindley's Lock is Robbie's local. He pops in for a pint on the way to pick up his friend Jonathan Wilkes, before zipping off to watch a football match at Port Vale on a Saturday. When he's in Stoke that is. Don't think much of the karaoke singers, but the guy who sings 'Naughty Naught Man' is great!    [04 Jan 2002 12:00:25]
