Good family pub
This is a typical family pub, which serves full 3 course meals as well as drinks from the bar. It's not much different from the other pubs in the Beefeater chain, the menus are the same and the quality of service isn't bad. There is a good childrens menu, and also a children's fun pack, to keep them occupied when they're not eating. Food isn't exactly gourmet; it's what you'd expect from your average British pub, and it is cooked fresh. Overall, nothing spectacular but generally a good experience. [16 Feb 2001 15:34:51]

I think that the hayes branch of Beefeater (the Grapes) was incredible! The food was outstanding and our waitress was very friendly and catered to our every need. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!! [06 Nov 2002 09:53:53]

Marvellous, Simply Excellent
My four mates and I were over from Australia and we visited the Fox and Roman. The meals were great and the service was excellent. I just hope that people can see the potential this pub has to offer. Well done all the staff and thanks for the meal. [15 Apr 2003 09:34:22]

The Flying Horse Clophill
The best branded restaurant I have ever been to and I have been to alot of them over the past 20 years.
The manager, an Irish chap was the best and most friendly host I have ever had. You would think that he owned the place as opposed to manage it!

The Flying Horse Clophill
As a local popped out for a meal with my wife and 17 month daughter. The staff ensured that we had everthing we needed for our daughter. I have my steak blue and I have to say one of the best I have had for a long time. [16 Sep 2005 05:28:21]
