Fantastic Food We have just recently eaten at this bistro which is open now on Friday and Saturday evenings. The food is tasty and superbly presented and puts some of the larger places to shame. Highly reccomended. [24 May 2003 09:46:55]

Fantastic Food without any Pomp It seemed as is we were taking a risk at first by choosing to dine in this small and slightly dingy restaurant. By the time the starters had arrived it was clear that we had chosen well. The food was well presented and very fresh tasting - the Fresh figs and Crispy ham salad being one of them. The mains were also just as good - I chose the fish platter - simple and unfussy, again very fresh - food as it should be - fresh without any fancy extras to get in the way. We couldnt fit in desserts as the portions were quite generous but the one's we saw looked very appertising. It would be nice if there was a similar place near where we live (Bristol) as my partner, John and I would be there all the time. [05 Oct 2003 07:04:53]

Outstanding The service was excellent with a really magnificant choice of delicious food and quaffable liquid refreshment. I would highly recommend this friendly, high quality establishment. [12 Nov 2003 15:13:41]

Great food, friendly atmosphere Great little place tucked away just out of town. Food is great and the best full English I've had for a while. Top stuff guys and nice waitresses also. Keep it up! [02 Sep 2004 15:15:44]

Situated behind the bar walls, a little bistro style cafe. Friendly welcoming staff with smiles all-round. A good vibe in general about the place. Good quality coffee - it's nice to know that you can go and get a decent coffee somewhere these days. Desserts also great. Try the streamed chocolate pud. My girlfriend was also impressed with her rhubarb crumble all presented in a fashionable manner. Will be back some time soon, and have recommended to friends also. [11 Oct 2004 12:33:38]

This Place Gets Better and Better Just had a great evening meal at this super little cafe on Thursday. The lamb was beautiful with a superbly delicious spicy sauce. My wife had the Chicken which was colourful and packed with flavour. Nice to see that the place was packed, about time - this place is really special. [22 Feb 2005 15:36:36]
