Can't see green cheese! We arrived during the Wales v England Rugby match, most of the Scots were for Wales of course but there were enough English people to stick up for themselves. We ordered Crunchy Chicken and when it arrived two sets of tables thought it looked tasty and followed suit. An excellent choice all round. [28 Mar 2003 18:55:40]

Best food in Aviemore This is the best place in Aviemore to eat. It is slightly cheaper than a lot of places (roo's leap........), and the food is the best home style cooking you will ever eat out. Known for their roast dinners, and the famous Butterscotch Sundae. Also an upbeat and genuinely keen staff. Don't take reservations, and it's a first come, first serve basis, which can sometimes be a pain but its nice that they treat everyone as an equal. On Thursday they do a buffet style meal that is a sample of all the dishes they do and you can help yourself and for two courses its just over £10. The deer skulls on the wall are a bit scary though. They also do seniors and teens meals as well as kids meals. I cannot say enough good things about this place. When we go there we are always happy. When 3 of us go (two adults and one child) we tend to get a bill between £30 and £40, including drinks. Astounding. [29 Dec 2008 15:16:18]
