Say CIAO! to Ciao Roma
Booked a table at Ciao Roma but unfortunately only half of our party turned up for the meal. I know this is annoying for a Restaurant but for the people who did turn up, this was not our fault.

The waiter just simply would not allow us into the restaurant and said he did not have a table for us. We appoligised profusely but he was not wearing it. One of our party arrived late and tried looking for us in the restaurant, obiviously we weren't there, but when I spoke to him next day he said he was surprised they hadn't let us in because when he'd been looking around for us the Restaurant was actually half empty.

I guess they just don't care about returning customers at Ciao Roma - so from me its CIAO! to Ciao Roma    [01 Sep 2004 10:01:52]

We are regular visitors to Ciao Roma and have always found the food superb and the service excellent. Every time we go it's packed with customers and the food was certainly not ordinary.
I can't understand the negative responses on this are they going to the same restaurant?    [14 Oct 2006 10:52:47]

Have been there only twice and have also eaten at a couple of others, CR certainly is a cut above the others in terms of decor, and the service is incredibly attentive with responsibility not resting with only one waiter to ensure you're neither over serviced nor ignored. Food is of a high standard, although so far I've ordered the same dish (veal crema with mushrooms), enjoyed it both times, although the second time was entirely different from the first both were fine.    [07 Dec 2006 14:07:56]
