Description

With huge windows and wooden floors, Double Dutch can accomodate for up to 50 people. Tyey offer a large range of breakfasts such as eggs benedict or potato rostis with wilted spinach, smoked salmon and poached eggs. All food is freshly prepared on the premises including breads and cakes. The emphasis is on fresh, tasty, simple food. Specialities include spicy coconut noodles with seared chicken and lime and our steak, rockett and onion marmalade sanwiches. Sandwiches are large open sandwiches served on our freshly baked foccaccia. They have a selection of starters and sides as well as salads - such as Black olive, rockett, sundried tomato and goats cheese. There is a large range for vegetarians to choose from - however things can always be made up specially for all dietary requirements.
Double Dutch aim to create a relaxing atmosphere in which people feel like they are at a home away from home. There's big chocolate brown sofas to sprawl on so you can escape the reality of the outside world. Average main meals cost around £6.00 and sandwiches in the £4.00 range. Breakfasts vary from £3.50 up to £6.50 for our hangover busting breakie. The homemade cakes are incredibly popular - lemon drizzle, chocolate brownies, carrot cake, chocolate banana bread - the list goes on! Treat yourself after a hard days work with a coffee and cake deal for only £2.70. You can also hire Double Dutch out for private parties (up to 45 for a sit down / 100 for a canapes party) at no extra cost.
