Palatable cuisine
I've tried quite a number of dishes on the take-away menu, which I must say is extensive. Most are OK, although some tend to be too salty. The starters are wonderful, my favourite being the stuffed lettuce. The dine-in restaurant upstairs is clean and nicely decorated, lots of space and good for large groups. The staff were wonderful and helpful with recommendations. Price was slightly more expensive than other nearby chinese restaurants. A decent meal for one would cost around 15 pounds. I've eaten at the Fortune House a number of times and have had take out and would recommend both. Not sure if the offer is still on but they did have 'All you can eat' for £16.50.    [24 May 2004 16:38:23]

This place really is very good
I have been a customer here on a number of occassions and have always enjoyed the experience.

I have often seen many Chinese customers in the take-away area which says it all, I believe.

All you can eat
