Without a doubt the best pizza in Cardiff It's just how momma used to make it! Make sure you book or you could be in for quite a wait. [05 Sep 2001 11:46:23]

Good restaurant favourite with students because of its reasonable prices. Remember to book. Limited take away menu. [21 May 2002 04:28:35]

Simply our favourite Me and my friends end up here about once a month... it's just our favourite for a quiet night out.. you can't fault the food, and it's always good value for money.. and the atmoshpere is intimate and authentic Italian - like being on holiday! [04 Nov 2002 16:12:52]

avoid at all costs i visited the Albany road Zio Pin on Saturday evening & had the worst restaurant experience i've encountered in my life.
To start, they'd booked us for the wrong day (Friday not Saturday) so got in a huff & tried blaming us. The fact that two of our party were out of the country on Friday meant we were 100% not mistaken.
We were offered a free round of drinks as recompense, but the bar staff were so inept they weren't able to serve us for 15 minutes and when the bill came they reneged on the free drinks anyway.
Every course that was served saw 5 dishes (of 6) being brought & one person having to wait 10 minutes for theirs.
Then there was the food....had I wanted to eat overcooked Tesco value pasta coated with a pint of oil I could have stayed at home & saved myself the quite frankly shocking amount of £20.
All in all a terrible experience which marred a once-yearly gathering of friends and family. I would stongly recommend this restaurant is avoided. [17 Dec 2007 05:08:45]
