OK

I feel that the food was excellent and on asking one of the very polite waitreses was told that the meat was from one of the fine local butchers and was absolutely devine. it is a great place to take the family as it has a very traditional cafe/restraunt interiour.    [27 Jun 2006 05:37:56]

the whole food process
Three weeks ago had Sunday Lunch special - menu inside differred from outside menu, not as many items available. Two diners, 1st course Soup (passable) and Egg mayonnaise (boiled egg cut in half with spoonful of processed mayonnaise on top) 2nd course - 2 roast turkey dinners (only fresh item being the carrots, which were nice, sliced processed turkey, instant gravy, tinned potatoes and peas, frozen brocolli and small round item which I presume was meant to be stuffing, could not eat any of it, except for the carrots). 3rd course 1 trifle of indeterminate origin and 1 frozen shop bought apple pie with instant custard. When challenged waitress swore all food was fresh. Reasonably priced (£8.95 per person) but as I couldn't eat any of it not reallt relevant.    [02 Dec 2006 07:47:05]
