Clean, Classy & Delicious! This spotless restaurant sits on the sea front at Rhos-on-Sea, a lovely small town on the North Wales coast in between Llandudno and Colwyn Bay.
The granite clad exterior is really eyectching next to the picturesque harbour and the view to the sea beyond isn't effected with the floor to ceiling windows.
The food is off the highest quality and we struggled to find an available table, but it was well worth the wait!
The milkshakes are delicious, I tried most flavours and it was hard to pick a favourite but the chocolate was so rich and creamy, made with Forte's own vanilla ice-cream.
The do a fantastic selection of Ice-cream sundaes including old favourites like the knickerbocker glory as well as a "cabaret" and "bali hai" and my favourite for those romantics among us, the "lovers cup"!!
The choice for lunch was difficult with a two course luncheon on offer as well as snacks and light bites and a huge selection of ice creams (24 in total!) One for every day of your holiday!!
The waiters and waitresses are very pleasant and friendly and speedy!! The service is extremly slick, not what you'd expect from a restaurant in Rhos.
I would recommend to anyone visiting North Wales to stop for a snack, luncheon or dinner, you won't be disppointed and I will definately be returning with my family again :) [28 Aug 2006 14:15:26]
