My husband and I visit Homer every summer. Capt. Patties is famous for their fish n chips. They also have very cold beer which is a plus. The views are breathtaking, but the restaurant needs a good freshing up. Carpet ratty and worn and the tables and chairs have seen beter days. All in all, great food.    [03 Mar 2005 17:32:56]

A taste of heaven
Captain patties has a unique blend of quality and friendliness unlike any place I've been. At this restaurant, someone from out of town would really get to experience an Alaskan adventure with the deliciously prepared seafood platters and unforgettable view of Alaska's beautiful coastline. Travelled from the UK to vist Homer for fishing and we were recommended Captain Patties by the crew on our Hailbut boat (6 of us ).

Ate here 3 times always great food. The snow crab for a special occasion but for good value and great flavour the Chowder was great, will definately return here again on next fishing trip.    [10 Jun 2005 06:55:39]
