Can NOT believe this hasn't been reviewed yet!
There is ALWAYS a line at this restaurant waiting to get in, and there is a REASON for that. When Chan's first started out there is rumour that the food was "too spicy" for Alaskan tastes. (see here: http://www.juneauempire.com/stories/053002/bus_profile.shtml ) but the owners have "toned it down a bit" and the food is just incredible! My only wish is that they move closer to town, and into a larger place, so we don't have to wait in line!!    [07 May 2003 11:51:05]

Only good by Juneau Standards
For Juneau, Alaska, this is the best Thai around. But then, where's the competition? On a scale of 1-5 in any other market, this place couldn't get more than a 3. Even in Juneau, my curry-loving palate has a hard time giving it 3 stars (quite enjoyable). But like I said--what's the alternative?    [14 Feb 2004 03:45:23]
