Good Eats on the Black Warrior River (Bankhead Lake)
Quinn's serves good basic food and you can arrive by car or boat! My wife and I visited 3 times over Memorial Day weekend 2007. One dinner was hamburger steak with onions and gravy and 2 sides.

Another dinner was a takeout slab of ribs with baked beans and potato salad. Ribs and BBQ were a special offering for the holiday - I presume they will repeat them for July 4th. The ribs and sauce were very good & meaty, beans were basic, and the potato salad used red potatoes, mustard, mayo. The latter needed a little salt and pepper but that's much better than being too salty -- often the case.

The last meal was lunch; both of us had cheeseburgers and fries. Very good and copious amounts of iced tea are provided.

No beer or wine served. Cold drinks, snacks, and some basic groceries, tackle, and boat supplies are available.    [29 May 2007 12:44:41]
