Great, Relaxed Atmosphere
Feels like a large hall, but the food makes up for it. For lunch, try sitting in the bar. Same great food at lower prices.    [22 Apr 2006 18:29:45]

I drove from Ohio just for the Shrimp
A friend in Ohio recommended it to me when he found out I was taking my daughter to Pennsacola College back in 1988. Everytime since then when I am in the area I have to go. A great place for children. Just be sure to get there early. You won't be disapointed    [17 May 2006 21:46:47]

Best Seafood Anywhere!!!
Restaurant has been remodeled since Ivan hot and the new eat-in bar area is great addition. The seafood is best you will ever eat anywhere. Once you find it, you'll go back again. We recently spent 10 days in the area and ate there three nights.... Wonderful!!

One of the best restaurants for seafood in the South. Have been going there for about 20 years. So glad you survived
Ivan. From the abundant lunch buffet to the seafood platters, the food and service - always good. A little difficult to locate if you are not familiar with area -    [18 Oct 2006 09:55:05]

     VINCENT,

We had a party of about 40 in the month of Feb. I have been there many times before. The time before this I went and I thought the food had changed but gave it another try. There gumbo is always outstanding not this time, no oysters what so ever and I ask her before if it was the same with the oysters, and she replied "yes" well no oyster in mind or the others that ordered the gumbo.
I don't know what was in the batter on the fish but it was awful most of the people around me try to pick the fish out of the batter.
I would not go back.    [25 Feb 2007 11:00:26]

Was recommended Wolf Bay Lodge by friend of the family who lives in Foley, AL. Took the family, wife and four kids, for dinner while on Spring Break 2007. Although half of the tables were empty, was told we would have to wait an hour to be seated. Was ignored by servers and the bathrooms were disgusting. Ended up leaving and eating elsewhere. Will not go back.    [06 Apr 2007 16:28:03]
