The Original Oyster House in Gulf Shores always has great, fresh seafood, excellent service, and the prices are reasonable. The only downside to the place is that everyone knows about it. Parking is limited and difficult to find during peak seasons. The wait can be long - up to 2 1/2 hours.    [07 Apr 2004 17:01:11]

For Seafood Lovers
This is my favorite place to eat on the causeway. The service is good and the food is excellent. The seafood is fresh and the food always comes out hot and how you ordered it.    [27 Jul 2004 16:29:35]

The Oyster house is a nonsmoking restaurant with an excellent viarity of food. They have a way that you can create your own plater so you get just what you want.    [08 Dec 2006 17:45:26]
