Best Kept Secret in Hoover
This sports bar/restaurant was an unexpected surprise. We had heard of McAnally's but never visited. We went with some friends and were very surprised at the size of the menu and the quality of the dishes served. Everything was delicious and big portions. The Reuben sandwich was the best I've ever had. The service was good. There's many TV's and several pool tables, something for everyone. There's live entertainment on the weekends. There's also a banquet room and catering available.

When we found out they also served daily lunch specials we decided to go back and try. The lunches are fantastic and again very large portions and very inexpensive. They serve meats and vegetables, all fresh with homemade rolls and cornbread. Deserves a try.    [08 May 2004 06:43:49]
