very poor service 02/24/06 @6:45 pm i have never had such rude service in my entire life! First of all, every table in the place was filthy. Secondly, My two children and I waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged only to be treated with the utmost dis repect that I have ever witnessed! after waiting 9 minutes I decided that the waitress must be waiting on me to make a move to a table that I wanted to sit. After checking out all of the smokers I decided on one by the door since my daughter is allergic to smoke but she always loves eating there. I sat down and waited AGAIN. The waitress still ignoring us proceeded to clean off every table EXCEPT the one we wanted. She then acknowledged me by saying what are you waiting on someone or what? I stated, "No, I was just waiting on you to clean off the table." She then said very bluntly,"You can go sit at one of the tables I have cleaned over there" Which was right by chimneys smoking! I said I would prefer to sit here and she walked off and proceeded to ignore me again. I cleaned off the table I wanted and sat down. She continued to ignore me and my daughters another 15 minutes. She finally came over and took our order still in a rude manner. She waited another 10 minutes and came back rudely again and said: Why is that in the floor? (IT was the dirty ashtray that was on our table) I stated: Because I did not want it on my table. She threw her hands up screaming to the cook "Do not cook their food I am not serving them!"
I feel that we were discrimanated against because we were the only females in the restaurant and the only ones that did not smoke!
I asked her name and she would not give it. She just snarled what is yours? I gave her mine and asked again and she walked away to some of her men again. We left.
If she felt she was in the right she would not have minded giving her name. Also, there were 2 sheriffs in there at the time and if I was in the wrong for cleaning off the table or putting the ashtray in the floor I am sure they would have escorted me out immediately.
I am in customer service and the customer is always right.
I feel that this is not the proper attitude that you want for your employees.
I am very very disappointed and will continue to let everyone I know of the rude person there until I hear that you have taken care of the matter. [25 Feb 2006 08:59:39]
