GO FOR THE PIE
This was our first time visiting the area. We arrived in town late and headed toward Bayou La Batre. We were looking for fresh, local seafood. We did not care for the stuffed crab.... a lot of stuff, a little crab. The fried seafood platter was coated in excessive batter.
The shrimp smelled like as if it had gone over. The fish was good.
The MANGO CREAM PIE is brillant****

Eating here for 25 years
I have been eating here for over 25 years and when I have friends visit this is the # 1 restaurant I tell them about. It takes me about 40 minutes to drive to the restaurant but man is it ever worth it. They have the world's best crab claws.    [05 Mar 2006 19:49:24]

It's All About The Crab Claws
