The Best Hushpuppies You Can Get Anywhere
My husband and I moved to Montgomery, just before the original building burned down. Then after getting a job at the Alabama Restaurant Association, I would pass by the site everyday on my way to work and saw the progress of the new site. It really looks fabulous. Weeks before it opened I could see the fish tank from the road.

Well, my husband and I ate there for the first time last night (2/9/05) and we fell instantly in love. The catfish filet's crust is really crunchy. The soup beans and slaw were delicious, and I fell head over heels on the hushpuppies. I don't care much for huspuppies. I couldn't stop eating them, even munching on them as I paid my check and walked out the door. If you're in the Montgomery area and want really good seafood, and you don't try this place,

Heavenly White Beans
We stopped in on Saturday night 11/25/06 at 7:30PM & had the greatest eating experience ever! Loved the white beans served in the kettle & the hushpuppies in the little pail! We shared a combo plate of shrimp & oysters & had food left over. Next time we're in the area we will be stopping in again. The only complaint was that I got a creak in my neck trying to look at all the wonderful old things hanging on the walls!    [30 Nov 2006 22:11:04]
