Breakfast at Hazel's I eat breakfast at Hazel's at least once every month. It is a favorite among locals and tourists, with a casual atmosphere and home style food. The breakfast bar is affordably priced, and includes the omelet bar, where you can have your own omelet made fresh for you while you wait. The French toast strips at the breakfast bar always seem to be pretty hard to chew, they're the only item I would not recommend trying. It is a busy place in the mornings but well worth the trip, the food is great and the staff are always friendly and attentive.
Hanging from the walls in each room are mounted fish, each with its own world record plaque. Televisions (often tuned in to fishing shows) are in each room of the restaurant. [29 Mar 2003 16:28:46]

Lunch at Hazel's On a recent trip some of my friends and I ate lunch at Hazel's. We were very pleased with the food and the service. We all ordered the food bar and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and taste of the food. We particularly liked the carrot souffle and the pasta seafood salad. The price was excellent for the food you got. [20 May 2003 14:26:25]

Great Place to Eat!!! My family always makes Hazel's one of the highlights of our vacation at Orange Beach. Their seafood buffet is great! Excellent variety and wonderful taste.
The omelet bar sure makes a good breakfast too! [03 Jan 2007 12:35:28]

Some Good Some Not So Good We recently stayed over in Orange Beach and read the reviews on Hazel's. We ate on a Tuesday night. Great people and great service.
Some of the food was good, nearly everything fried was good and fresh. The boiled Shrimp was excellent.
Some of the baked fish was rubbery as well as the snow crab legs.
We paid $20 per adult $12 10-12 and $7 for our 9 year old.
Probably worth $15. It worked but fell short of "fabulous".
Probably will skip it next time [06 Jun 2007 15:55:39]
