Terrible, Horrible, No Good Service
Want terrible, horrible, no good service? Visit the Dairy Queen on Apache Trail. This particular store is right across the street from a McDonald's and an Arby's. We pulled into the drive thru @ 6:19 anticipating a good burger and ice cream. Guess when we were served our food? It was 6:53 when they brought out our cold meal.

THEN...they had forgotten the waffle cone ice cream we had paid for. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told the manager said she was not available. Our server was kind enough--she was really a nice kid who had just started--to tell us that the owner was on site. We asked to speak to him. He said he wasn't coming out to speak to us. When I told the nice gal that we would just like our money back and we would return the food. She brought us our money but short changed me by a buck. I said I would take the food back in to see this pitiful owner who was too scared to see a disgruntled patron for myself.

When the owner was pointed out to me, I said "Excuse me Sir?" He was not 15 feet from me and I addressed him FIVE times. Each time he ignored me despite my attempt to increasing my volume. Then he told me to "Get out." Great Customer Service. Bet he will be in business a long time. The only leverage consumers have is to get owners who think poor customer service is acceptable is to affect their profit.

Show Dairy Queen that there are plenty of other Fast food restaurants who understand the term, "Fast food." We went across to McDonald's and were literally in and out in 3 minutes.    [05 Oct 2007 22:40:27]
