Cute Place
Convenient location if you are shopping in Cave Creek. Food at The Horny Toad was decent and portions are huge. Some of the locals referred to the restaurant as a tourist trap, but for $15 you can get an entire fried chicken with cole slaw and fries. That entree easily feeds 2-3 people. We thought the barbecue dishes were just *OK*.

Worth stopping in at, if even for a drink instead of food. Next time, we'd split a selection. We wanted to try the strawberry shortcake (baked fresh daily) but we were too full.    [22 May 2006 23:17:14]
