Great Food In El Mirage! Finally!!!
The Rio Mirage has a great atmosphere and the workers there are very nice. I had a specialty of theirs called the "Rio Grande Burrito" and it was great. It is very inexpensive.    [20 Nov 2002 16:31:59]

Been there on a number of occasions...ok, regular customer. Great food. The best in the West Valley. Not a chain restaurant. The restaurant is really busy on the weekends and Margarita night, but it will be worth the wait. They also welcome reserved parties/luncheons. The staff is mostly bilingual, so don't be scared. They have a number of daily specials and a lunch menu to browse thru. They also have reasonable prices. The menu has many dishes, so there will be something on the menu you will enjoy. Also, don't forget the chips and salsa are included. I recall their salsa won best in Phoenix 2002, Cinco De Mayo. On average, between 2 people, and non-alcoholic drinks, dinner will run you about $20-25 minus gratuity. One detail that stands out is one, if not both owners, are always present. If you ever have a problem (not likely), it will be remedied on the spot. Finding a decent Mexican restaurant in Phoenix Metro is pretty hard to come by. This restaurant in El Mirage is what I compare other restaurants to. Rio Mirage Cafe & Cantina has my vote for best in Phoenix.    [06 May 2003 19:01:32]

Rio Mirage is # 1 in My Book
I have found the best Mexican restaurant. We used to drive into Phoenix to get great food and service. Now we only have to go around the corner and we are there.    [16 Jan 2006 18:03:57]

Rio Mirage is wonderful
I just moved away from Phoenix and will miss this spot terribly. Great authentic Mexican dishes, the best margaritas I had in AZ....I dare you to get the large.....wonderful service and atmosphere...live strolling mariachi on Thursday night..you have to try it!    [26 Oct 2006 19:36:57]
