A place to avoid...
Although the food was decent, the owner of the house (an older tall long haired blond lady) completely lacks tact when dealing with paying customers.

Today I had two bad experiences from the owner. The first bad experience (when things were slow), this owner acted as if he was doing a favor when I needed creamer for my coffee. The second bad experience I asked the owner (during a busy time, but between customers) I inquired about music at the house which a quick yes or no answer would have sufficed. She replied very rudely, "can it wait!" All she needed to say, I will get to you as soon as I help these customers...

Please feel free to go to this house if you like your meal served with a side of rudeness...

Service Spoils Lunch
What started out as a nice lunch out with some friends was quickly turned sour by the appaling behaviour of the older blonde lady who may be the manager. After discovering that our burgers were less than warm, we inquired if they could please be heated up? Our reply was a haughty "impossible how can they be I just prepared them." All we wanted was "sorry about that I'll fix that for you." The continued bad service and rudeness forced us into verbally complaining. This was met with an insincere apology. On leaving the restaurant we heard some embarrased laughter. Clearly the manager was embarrased and thought that laughing would hide how clearly she had been told!

I used to like the coffee shop but now I will never go back and I recommend others do the same, until service improves. I would add everyone else who works there has been lovely.    [03 Mar 2005 23:46:21]

Never had a good experience here
There are plenty of good coffee places in Flagstaff... totally avoid Campus Coffee Bean. The coffee isn't so good, the service is terrible.    [16 Apr 2006 10:25:44]

It's a good place to meet people
I have always loved the "Bean". The staff is friendly. The food has always been good. The regular customers are also a great group to meet.    [23 Jul 2006 03:39:28]
