Authentic Italian in Mesa
We went to Alessia's on a whim. Tucked away in the strip mall at the SE corner of Higley and Brown is the most wonderful kept secret restaurant. My wife and I always try to find a eat at small family restaurants rather than chains. Well, I have to admit that we have returned to Alessia's numerous times now and have yet to have less than an extraordinary experience. Owned by a young couple, Alessia's has been in business for two years now and they strive to create return diners rather than cattle heard people through the doors. We highly recommend people getting to know these people and this restaurant because they are the epitome of casual fine dining in Mesa Arizona.    [04 Sep 2006 05:21:41]

To Die For
This quaint little place is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. Actually we never went inside, deciding instead to take advantage of the cool temperature left behind by our beloved summer monsoon. We started with the bruschetta which was absolutely the best I have had since I came back from Italy. The bread was light and fluffy and the crust was also light and airy - not too hard.    [02 Aug 2007 11:35:14]
